Day 4: Enjoy the day swimming, fishing or relax in the sun
Today you will reach the final destination of the trip - Sangklaburi. In the morning there will be time to go kayaking, fishing, swimming or what you prefer, before we set off. Back on the mainland you can see the longest teakwood bridges in Thailand or you can take a private tour to the Three Pagodas Pass, which is located on the border between Thailand and Burma. In Sangklaburi you will be checked in at the nice guesthouse just at the river bank.(B, L)
Day 5: Sangklaburi-Bangkok
After your stay in the relaxing village of Sangklaburi, we will be on our way back to Bangkok The trip is about 7 hours, but the first part is very beautiful through the jungle area. You will end at the northern bus terminal, and the transport to NRGH or else where is on your own.
Choice:
If you like, you have a chance to extend the trip with one or more days in Sangklaburi village.
Sleeping:
3 nights on the houseboat in twin cabins and 1 night at the guest house.
Houseboat facilities:
- Shaded lower deck eating area, where cold beverages are served.
- Free kayaks to use whenever you want Deck chairs, comfortable armchairs and Hammocks for snoozing
- A 1.80 meter high tower for the adventurous.
- Free coffee/tea and fruit Books, games and fishing equipment free of use
- Life jackets.
Remember to bring the following:
- Light and comfortable clothes for the warm climate
- Light cotton clothes with long sleeves (to protect against mosquitoes)
- A warm jumper for the cooler evenings Swimsuit and towel.
- Sandals, and trekking shoes.
- Sun cap, sun glasses and sunscreen.
- Mosquito-repellant Camera and video recorder
- Tip for the mahouts and bamboo rafting crew
- Pocket money and your personal travel insurance.
- Also, it is important that you bring your passport, when we are moving close to the border towns.
You are welcome to store your luggage at New Road Guest House in Bangkok while you are on the trip
